We are one of the few churches in the area that offer a Sunday evening worship opportunity. For us this time is not merely something we do out of duty to tradition it serves a vital function in the life of our church body. We have a number of families and individuals who simply cannot attend Sunday morning services on a regular basis because of work demands. A number of our youth workers are busy during the morning worship and this gives them an extra opportunity to partake of the Lord's Supper and participate in worship. The rest of us just appreciate the extra teaching.
Sunday night is a unique opportunity to hear various speakers. Several different men take turns bringing a message each week. We follow our Route 66 program and a theme is selected each month for a different book of the Bible. These volunteers are always well prepared and its exciting to see God work through the preaching of church leaders who aren't "professionally" trained.
The Sunday evening service runs from about 45 min to an hour. If you are missing church in the morning take advantage of this opportunity to visit with us. You'll be glad you did.
