Wes Dingman moved to Kosovo in June 2001 to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to Albanian Muslims. He began by learning their language, which he now speaks fluently, and now conducts all of his Bible studies, preaches and teaches in the Albanian language. Currently Wes is back in the States. He will be working on a Master of Div. Degree from Abilene Christian University in Texas. His study emphasis will be Greek and Hebrew which will allow him to assist in an important Bible translation project.
Wes believes that the need to reach out to Muslims is one of the most pressing challenges facing the Church today. Evangelism to Muslims is difficult, but the joy of seeing souls embrace the Savior Jesus Christ and have their sins washed away makes all of the labor worth it.
Wes is married to a Kosovar Albanian, Vjollca. They are currently back in the states so Wes can study the Biblical languages. His goal is to help translate the scripture in to the modern Albanian tongue, and return to Kosovo better equipped to lead the disciples forward.
