One of the most important things any church can do is to support worthy missionary outreaches. We currently help to support two overseas missions, a preacher training school and a disaster relief agency.
Wes Dingman with Jesus Christ's Mission in Kosavo. Wes is sharing the gospel with the people of Prizren, Kosavo. Currently he is in the states studying at Abilene Christian University. His plans are to gain profeciency in the Biblical languages and assist in completing a modern translation in to the Albanian language.
Ryan Kasler with the First Christian Church of Martin's Ferry Romanian Mission In partnership with a Romanian church of Christ Ryan will be opening and a children's home in the village of Ghioroc, Arad County, Romania. There he hopes to offer a refuge to 8 to 12 hurting children.
North East Ohio Bible College. NEOBC is a school located just across the state line in Ohio. They are committed to providing high quality, low cost preacher training.
International Disaster and Emergency Services. IDES is a relief organization among the independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. It consistently receives the highest recommendations from independent agencies which rate charities on the basis of the percentage of money that makes its way the the people in need. They use a unique distribution system which utilizes local churches and missionaries in a disaster area to efficiently distribute needed supplies.
